Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Ranck is in his fourth season with the Coyote cross country and track programs.

CROSS COUNTRY: In 2014, clocked a career-best time of 25:40 at the Inland Empire Classic, while placing 25th at the Cascade Conference Championships and 142nd at the NAIA National Championships; in 2013, had a season-best time of 25:49 at the Inland Empire Classic, while clocking a time of 26:21 at the NAIA National Championships; in 2012, had his best time at the NAIA Championships, recording a time of 26:41.

TRACK & FIELD: In 2015, had season-best times of 4:04 in the 1,500-meters at the Border Clash and 15:37 in the 5,000-meters at the CCC Championships; in 2014, placed 16th at the CCC Championships in the 5,000-meters; had season best times of 4:06 in the 1,500-meters and 15:30 in the 5,000-meters; in 2013, qualified for the CCC Championships - placing sixth in the 5,000-meters and 11th in the 1,500; ran a career-best time of 3:57 in the 1,500-meters, while running a career-best time of 15:14 in the 5,000-meters.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate of Boise High, where he competed in both the 5A state cross country and track and field championships; in cross, he placed fifth at state as a senior, while in track, finished sixth in the 3,200-meters and seventh in the 1,600-meters; top prep marks of 4:26 in the 1,600, 9:37 in the 3,200, and 16:31 in the 5,000-meters.

PERSONAL: Studying anthropology; son of  Miles and Jackie Ranck.
