AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Nordquist is in his fourth season with the Coyote cross country and track programs.

CROSS COUNTRY: In 2016, was a part of the Cascade Conference travel team; recorded a season-best 8,000-meter time of 27:31 at the Warrior Invite; named to the CCC All-Academic Team, earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete and CoSIDA Academic All-District honors. In 2015, recorded a season-best time of 25:42 at the Inland Empire Classic; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team. In 2014, had a season-best 8,000-meter time of 26:14 at the Inland Empire Classic, while running a time of 27:25 at the CCC Championships.

TRACK AND FIELD: Did not compete during the 2017 season. Used the 2016 season as a redshirt year; named to the CCC All-Academic Team. In 2015, had top outdoor times of 4:06.35 in the 1,500-meters at the Boyman Invitational and 15:54 in the 5,000-meters at the John Knight Twilight.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Jerome High, where he was a member of both the cross country and track teams; as a senior, placed sixth in both the 1,600 and 3,200-meters at the 4A state championships; top prep marks of 4:27 in the 1,600-meters, 9:54 in the 3,200-meters, and 17:00 in the 5,000-meters (cross country).

PERSONAL: Studying math/physics and chemistry; son of Kenneth and Sandra Nordquist.
