AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Frey is in his fourth season with the Coyote cross country and track teams.

2018-19: In track, qualified for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships as part of the 4x800-meter relay...competed in the middle distance events at the Cascade Conference Championships, recording top times of 1:55.73 in the 800-meters and 3:58.20 in the 1,500-meters...named to the CCC All-Academic Team. In cross country, was a part of the travel team to the NAIA Championships, recording a season-best time of 25:16 at the Warrior Invite...named to the CCC All-Academic Team.

2017-18: In track, placed eighth in the 800-meters (1:57.39) and ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:05.21) at the Cascade Conference Championships. In cross country, was a part of the travel teams to the CCC Championships and NAIA Championships; placed 22nd at the CCC meet and 274th at the NAIA meet; clocked a season-best 8,000-meter time of 25:19 at the Warrior Invite. Named to the CCC All-Academic Team in both cross country and track.

2016-17: In track, Frey competed during the indoor season, posting a season-best 600-meter time of 1:27.14 at the Bronco Invitational; recorded a season-best 800-meter time of 2:00.48 at the Jackson's Invitational; also had a  mile time of 4:28.50 at the Boise State Invitational  In cross country, was part of both the Cascade Conference and NAIA National Championships travel team; recorded a season-best 8,000-meter time of 25:58 at the Warrior Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Skyview High, where he placed third as a senior in the 800-meters at the 4A state championships.

PERSONAL: Studying creative writing.
