AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Sutton is in his fifth year with the Coyote track and field program and his third season with the cross country squad.

CROSS COUNTRY: In 2017, earned All-Cascade Conference honors, placing 11th at the CCC Championships; finished 153rd at the NAIA National Championships; had a top 8,000-meter time of 25:02 at the Warrior Invite. In 2016, earned All-Cascade Conference honors after placing tenth at the CCC Championships; placed 105th at the NAIA Championships; had a career-best time of 25:56 at the Warrior Invitational. Did not compete in an event during the 2014 or 2015 seasons.

TRACK AND FIELD: In 2018, placed seventh in the 10,000-meters (32:59) and 14th in the 5,000-meters (15:02) at the CCC Championships. In 2017, won the 10,000-meter title at the CCC Championships with a career-best time of 32:03.04; also competed in the 5000-meters at the CCC Championships. In 2016, qualified for the CCC Championships in the 5,000-meters and 10,000-meters - placed seventh in the 10,000 (32:47) and 18th in the 5,000 (15:16). In 2015, ran season-best times of 4:21 in the 1,500-meters at the Border Clash and 16:00 in the 5,000-meters at the EOU Twilight.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Boise High, where he ran track as a prep, recording a top times of 4:28 in the 1,600-meters and 9:55 in 3,200-meters.

PERSONAL: Studying exercise physiology; son of Michael and Connie Sutton.
