Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Thompson is in his fourth season with the Coyote football and track programs.

2017: Competed for the Yotes in the long jump during the indoor season

2016: In track, qualified for the Cascade Conference Championships in the long jump and was a part of the third-place finishing 4x400-meter relay; season best mark of 6.17 meters (20 feet, 3 inches) in the long jump.

2015: In football, used the season as a redshirt year.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Firth High, where he was the Nuclear Conference Player of the Year and second-team 2A All-State selection; in track, won the 2014 2A 400-meter state title and placed in the Top-4 in the 100, 200, and 400-meters at the 2015 state championships.

PERSONAL: Studying exercise science; son of Matt and Jayme Thompson.
