Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Gaskins is in his fourth season with the Coyote track and field program; spent two seasons with the Coyote football program.

2018: Raced at the CCC Championships in both the 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relays - helping the Yotes place fourth in the 4x1 and seventh in the 4x4; had season-best marks indoors of 7.30 seconds in the 60-meters and 23.75 seconds in the 200-meters, while clocking outdoor marks of 11.58 seconds in the 100-meters and 23.62 seconds in the 200-meters; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2017: Competed at the CCC Championships as part of the 4x100-meter relay team that finished fifth with a time of 43.13 and in the 100-meter dash (11.29); named to the CCC All-Academic team.

2016: In track, qualified for the Cascade Conference Championships in the 100-meters (11.18) and 200-meters (22.86), while helping set a school record in the 4x100-meter relay (42.17); indoors, ran top times of 7.23 seconds in the 60-meters and 23.19 seconds in the 200-meters. In football, played in 10 games as a reserve defensive back and special teams player; recorded three tackles.

2015: In football, used the season as a redshirt year.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Mountain View High, where he helped his football team to the championship game of the 5A state playoffs; named to the All-Southern Idaho Conference team; in track, had top sprint marks of 11.20 seconds in the 100-meters and 23.03 seconds in the 200-meters.

PERSONAL: Studying biology; son of Tim and Tanja Gaskins.
