Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Nyirakomini is in his fifth year with the Coyote football program and track programs.

FOOTBALL: In 2019, did not see game action; in 2018, played in two games as a reserve defensive back and special teams player, recording two tackles, before an injury sidelined him for the rest of the season; used the 2017 season as a redshirt year; in 2016, played in five games as a reserve defensive back, recording nine tackles; had a season-high four stops at MSU-Northern. 

TRACK: In 2020, had a top indoor mark of 5.84 meters (19 feet, 2 inches) in the long jump); n 2019, had a top long jump mark of 5.82 meters; used the 2018 season as a redshirt year; in 2017, posted a personal-best triple jump mark of 12.83 meters at the Cascade Conference Championships; was part of the 4x100 meter relay team that finished fifth at the CCC Championships with a time of 43.13 seconds.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Rocky Mountain High, where he helped his team to the 5A state football title; honored as an All-Southern Idaho Conference and 5A All-State selection as a senior; in track placed fifth in the triple jump at the 2016 5A state championships.

PERSONAL: Studying business.
