Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Brown is in his fourth season with the Coyote football program; also competed for three seasons in track and field; has started each of the last 33 games on the offensive line.

FOOTBALL: In 2018, earned All-Frontier Conference honors after starting all 11 games at left tackle; helped rank second in the Frontier Conference in rushing offense and led C of I to their highest scoring total for a season in program history. In 2017, started all 11 games at right tackle, helping the Yotes lead the Frontier Conference in rushing yards per game; in 2016, started all 11 games at right tackle, helping the Yotes establish single-season school records for passing yards and total offense; named to the Frontier Conference All-Academic Team.

TRACK: In 2019, qualified for the NAIA Indoor National Championships in the 35-pound weight throw, along with the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in the hammer throw, discus and shot put; won the Cascade Conference title in both the shot put and discus; set school records both the hammer throw (54.08 meters) and the shot put (15.35 meters); named to the CCC All-Academic Team. In 2018, won the Cascade Conference discus title, while placing sixth in both the shot put and hammer throw at the CCC Championships...recorded top marks of 46.47 in the discus, 46.73 in the hammer and 14.07 in the shot put; in 2017, won the CCC title in the discus, qualifying for the NAIA National Championships, while placing fourth in the shot put and seventh in the hammer throw at the CCC Championships; had top marks of 14.36 meters in the shot put, 48.89 meters in the discus (No. 2 all-time) and 45.41 in the hammer throw.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent one season at Division II Western Oregon, where he competed in outdoor track and redshirted in football.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Colfax High in Washington, where he was a two-time All-Northeast League selection on both sides of the ball; team captain as a junior and senior.

PERSONAL: Studying health and human performance; brother Caleb is a member of the C of I track team.
