BOTH COYOTE TEAMS RANKED IN NAIA POLL: Both C of I swimming and diving teams remained in the latest NAIA Top-10 Coaches' Poll, released on Nov. 22. The Coyote men's squad remained at No. 6 for the second-straight ranking, while the women's team dropped one spot to No. 9. The next poll will be released on Dec. 20.
OFF TO LOGGER INVITE: For the second-straight season, the Coyotes will close out the first half of their schedule at the Logger Invite, hosted by Puget Sound at Wallace Pool in Tacoma. C of I will be joined by three NCAA Division III teams – host UPS, along with Whitworth and Whitman, plus Southwestern Oregon Community College. Teams will compete in morning preliminary heats, with a consolation and championship final to be conducted during evening sessions.
TOP-20 NAIA MARKS: Nine C of I men's swimmers are ranked among the NAIA Top-20 of their respective events – with
Nic Carrier holding the top marks in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events and
Ian Clifford holding the No. 1 time in the 1,650-yard freestyle, ranking No. 11 in the 500-yard freestyle and No. 16 in the 400-yard IM.
Graham Williams is No. 2 in the 1,650-yard freestyle;
Andrew Clifford is No. 2 in the 100-yard butterfly, No. 3 in the 50-yard freestyle, No. 7 in the 100-yard breaststroke and No. 10 in the 100-yard freestyle;
Jake Klassen is No. 8 in both the 200 and 400-yard IM and No. 10 in the 200-yard butterfly;
