Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Walker is in his fourth year with the Coyote cross country and track programs; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team in both cross country (2014, 2015) and track (2015, 2016); named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete in both cross country (2015) and track (2016).

CROSS COUNTRY: In 2015, placed 23rd at the CCC Championships and 74th at the NAIA National Championships; recorded a top time of 25:35 at the Inland Empire Classic. In 2014, had a career-best time of 26:00 at the Inland Empire Classic, while placing 30th at the CCC Championships with a time of 26:26; in 2013 had a top time of 26:07 at the Inland Empire Classic, while running as a part of the Yotes travel team to the NAIA Championships, clocking a time of 27:20.

TRACK & FIELD: In 2017, competed in the 5000m at the NAIA Championship where he posted a time of 16:15.26 and finished 15th; posted a career-best time of 33:19.56 in the 10,000m at the CCC Championships where he finished fifth; also competed in the 5000m and 800m at the CCC Championships; In 2016, placed fifth in both the 800-meters and 1,500-meters at the CCC Championiships; clocked top times of 1:56.55 in the 800 and 4:00.51 in the 1,500. In 2015, placed seventh at the CCC Championships in the 1,500-meters, recording a time of 3:59.88, while placing 13th in the 800-meters (1:56.70); in 2014, finished 16th in the 800-meters at the CCC Championships, recording a season-best time of 1:57.35.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Billings West High School, where he ran cross country as a senior, helping team place in the Montana AA state championships for the first time in 15 years; lso played football and ran track as a prep, recording top marks of 2:01 in the 800 and 4:33 in the 1,600-meters.

PERSONAL: Studying biology; son of Glen and Joline Walker.
