Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Jackson is in his fourth season with the Coyote cross country and track programs.

2020-21: In cross country, won the individual title at the EOU Duel in the Dirt, while earning All-Cascade Conference honors after a 13th-place finish at the CCC Championships...also placed 88th at the NAIA Championships, posting a season-best 8,000-meter time of 25:25; in track, took fourth at the CCC Championships in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:54.89) and eighth in the 800-meters (1:58.23); named to the CCC All-Academic Team in both sports.

2019-20: In track, competed indoors in both the mile (4:26.17) and 3,000-meter (9:11.48) events. In cross country, was a part of the squad that competed at both the Cascade Conference and NAIA Championships - placing 15th at the CCC meet and 155th at the national meet; posted a season-best 8,000-meter time of 25:36 at the Warrior Invite. Named to the CCC All-Academic Team in both cross country and track.

2018-19: In track, qualified for the Cascade Conference Championships in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:51.39)...had a top 5,000-meter time of 15:38. In cross country, was a part of the travel squad to the CCC Championships...recorded a season-best 8,000-meter time of 25:37 at the Warrior Invite.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Arbor View High in Nevada, where he competed in both sports...in cross country, placed third in the Southern Regional Championships and 19th at the Nevada 4A state meet as a senior...top 5,000-meter time of 16:38...in track, took fourth at the Southern Regional in the 3,200-meters (9:51) and fifth in the 1,600-meters (4:30).
