Summary

Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Brown is in his fifth season with the Coyote track and field program.

2021: Qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Championships in the decathlon, placing ninth overall with a personal best score of 6,358 points; earned All-Cascade Conference honors in the high jump (1.94 meters) and decathlon, while placing eighth in the discus (40.05 meters); named to the CCC All-Academic Team.

2020: Cleared a personal best height of 1.91 meters in the high jump and recorded a heptathlon score of 4,202 points during the indoor season; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2019: Had season best marks of 1.82 meters in the high jump, 44.46 meters in the javelin and 5,568 points in the decathlon; named to the CCC All-Academic Team.

2018: Placed fifth in the high jump, eighth in the decathlon and 12th in the javelin at the Cascade Conference Championships; had season-best marks of 1.87 meters (6 feet, 1 inch) in the high jump, 47.79 meters (156 feet, 9 inches) in the javelin and 5,487 points in the decathlon.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Colfax High, where he placed second in the high jump (6 feet, 5 inches) at the 1A/1B/2B state meet; 

PERSONAL: Studying nursing; brother Josh was a four-year member of the track team and brother Jacob is currently a freshman on the squad.
