AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Peterson is in his fourth season with the Coyote football program; heads into the 2019 season the all-time leader in career passing yards (4,483), total offense (7.164) and rushing touchdowns (42), ranking No. 2 all-time with 2,681 rushing yards; has 11 career 100-yard rushing games.

2018: Earned second-team All-Frontier Conference honors as a junior - passing for 1,998 yards and 18 touchdowns, while rushing for 822 yards and 13 scores; was a three-time Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week and the lone athlete to earn two NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week awards; against Rocky Mountain, rushed for a season-high 179 yards and four touchdowns, while passing for 233 yards and two scores; passed for 233 yards and two touchdowns and scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime in a road win at Montana Tech; rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns, adding 266 passing yards and three scores, in a home win over Southern Oregon.

2017: Had a record-setting season as the Yotes starting quarterback - rushing for 1,011 yards and 12 touchdowns, while throwing for 1,820 yards and eight scores - combining for a school record 2,831 yards of total offense...became just the fourth player in school history to rush for 1,000-yards...set a school record with 454 yards of total offense, including a 230-yard day on the ground in a 59-27 win over Montana Western - earning Frontier Conference and NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week honors...passed for a career-high 269 yards, while tying the school record with 31 rushing attempts against Southern Oregon...rushed for a 105 yards and a touchdown in a win over Eastern Oregon, while adding 92 yards on the ground and three touchdowns vs. Montana Tech.

2016: Had a banner freshman season as part of the Coyote quarterback rotation; rushed for a team-high 848 yards, while setting a school record with 17 rushing touchdowns; averaged 5.7 yards per carry on 150 rush attempts; recorded four 100-yard rushing games, including a career-high 228 yards and three touchdowns in a 44-41 overtime win over Southern Oregon - earning Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors; rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns at Montana Tech; completed 49 passes for 665 yards and two touchdowns. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Marin Catholic High in California, where he had a record-setting prep career, combining for 7,835 total yards and 97 touchdowns; was the 2014 and 2015 Marin County Athletic League and San Francisco Chronicle North Coast Section Player of the Year; led his team to the 2015 North Coast Section Division IV championship and a trip to the California State Championship Bowl Series - earning All-State honors.
