Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Funke is in his third season with the Coyote football program.

2019: Played in all 12 games as part of the defensive tackle rotation, including one start; had 20 tackles and one tackle for loss; recorded five tackles in a home win over Montana Western, adding three tackles in a home win over Eastern Oregon.

2018: Played in all 11 games as part of the defensive tackle rotation; recorded 10 total tackles, including one tackle for loss; had two stops in wins over Carroll, Southern Oregon and Montana Western.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent two seasons at Division II Humboldt State, where he played in four games as a special teams player, recording two tackles.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Novato High in California where he was an All-Marin County Athletic League selection.
