Summary

Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Nero is in his fourth season with the Coyote football program.

2018: Started the first five games of the season in secondary and was a key special teams player, before missing the second half of the year due to injury; had 19 tackles on the season, including a career-high 10 stops vs. Montana Tech; had two tackles for loss and one sack on the season.

2017: Played in all 11 games as part of the Yotes secondary rotation and on special teams...had 20 total tackles, adding two sacks...recorded season-high four tackles in wins against both Montana Western and Montana Tech.

2016: Played in all 11 games in the secondary, recording 42 total tackles; had a season-high nine stops at Montana Tech; added an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Colony High in Alaska, where he was the Railbelt Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Large Schools All-State selection as a senior.
