Yotes Swipe Up All Conference Honors
The College of Idaho Men's Soccer team proudly announces its players who earned recognition in the 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) All-Conference selections. These honors cap an impressive season for the Yotes, who finished 9-4-4 overall. The team showed a balanced performance on both ends of the field, scoring 46 goals across 17 games and demonstrating steadfast defensive skills.
All-Conference First Team
- Jorge Fernandez, Forward – Fernandez's offensive prowess was pivotal for the Yotes, as he led the team with 12 goals and 3 assists, totaling 27 points. Known for his accuracy, Fernandez placed 60.4% of his shots on target, netting two game-winning goals over 16 starts.
All-Conference Second Team
- Grant Embree, Defender – A defensive anchor for the Yotes, Embree started all 17 games and logged a team-high 1,447 minutes. His disciplined play contributed to a strong defensive season, keeping opponents to an average of 1.6 goals per game.
Honorable Mentions
- Keidin Green, Forward – Green made a strong impact with 8 goals and 4 assists, securing 20 points and proving to be a versatile playmaker and finisher.
- Ben Calam, Midfielder – Known for his reliability, Calam contributed 2 assists and a 50% shot-on-goal rate, helping the team maintain midfield control.
