Yotes End Season With Seven Game Streak

CALDWELL, Idaho– The College of Idaho men's soccer team remains unbeaten in their last seven matches after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Multnomah University on Saturday at the Simplot Stadium.

The game showcased a tightly contested battle, with both teams creating significant scoring opportunities. Multnomah took the lead in the 64th minute with a goal from Axcele Biteghe, assisted by Paul Einero. However, the Yotes responded quickly, equalizing just 13 minutes later when Krew Christensen scored off an assist from Hugo Gutierrez.

Despite the deadlock, the Yotes outshot Multnomah 17-16, with a notable performance from goalkeeper Ben Anderson, who made two crucial saves. College of Idaho also earned a total of nine corner kicks compared to Multnomah's five.

The Yotes, now standing at 9-3-4 overall and 7-3-3 in conference play, will carry this momentum into the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship Tournament, scheduled to begin on November 10 in Medford, Oregon.
