NAMPA, Idaho - The College of Idaho competed against fellow CCC foes Eastern Oregon and Lewis-Clark State as well as host Northwest Nazarene University at the 2022 NNU Invitational and Multi Events on Friday and Saturday.
Friday's action saw
Bryan Terry take second to lead the Yotes in the hammer throw with a NAIA "A" and CCC Championship qualifying mark with a toss of 175-7 (53.51m) and
Josh Fritz led a sweep of second thru fifth in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 32:12.25, followed by
Brennen Donahue (third, 32:29.78),
Will Kracaw (fourth, 32:42.22) and
Elias Everist (fifth, 32:53.58). All four performances qualify them for the CCC Championships. Plus,
Mark Sullivan was fifth in the javelin with a CCC Championship qualifying toss of 147-8 (45.01m).
Saturday's action saw Terry win the discuss with a toss of 148-3 (45.18m) and
Jake Moore take third with a throw of 139-2 (42.41m). Terry took second in the shot put with a toss of 50-1 3/4 (15.28m) and
Alec Kuzmack was fourth with a heave of 48-7 1/4 (14.81m).
Koyote Zimmerman on his final jump won the triple jump with a leap of 43-7 (13.28m) to edge teammate
Nate Griswold by two centimeters / one inch, who recorded a first jump of 43-6 (13.26m). Plus,
Johan Cobena and Griswold were third (20-7 3/4 / 6.29m) and fourth (20-3 1/2), respectively in the long jump.
On the track, the Yotes began the day with
Casey Senethavilay, who took fourth in the 100m dash with a CCC Championship qualifying time and season-best performance in 11.09. Plus, he was third in the 200m dash with a time of 22.47.
Ian Jackson was second in the 800m run with a time of 1:56.82 to lead the College of Idaho.

The Yotes also picked up a runner-up finish by Lane Maher, who was edged at the finish line in the 400m hurdles with a time of 54.67 – which is two hundredths of a second of a NAIA "B" qualifying standard.
Plus,
Caleb Brown took third in the decathlon with 6,076 points.
