Ian Williams scored a season-high eight goals, leading the College of Idaho to a 20-8 victory over Portland State to round out the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League regular season.
The Coyotes (7-3, 2-2 PNCLL South) now await their postseason fate – needing a Southern Oregon win today over Portland to clinch their second-straight berth to the PNCLL crossover tournament.
Williams' scored three of C of I's first four goals, as the Yotes bolted out to a 6-0 lead, extending the margin to 12-2 at the break. The senior added three assists in the victory.
Dillon Green scored four times and led C of I with five assists, with
Aaron Canode recording a season-high four goals. Both
Cody Zeff and Rem Bauer added a goal and an assist for C of I.
