CALDWELL, Idaho -
Brogan Rice was announced as the MCLA Pearl Goalie of the Week for the first time in his career following last weekend's honor roll. He collected 18 saves in two wins over No. 4 Montana State and No. 18 Western Washington University.
Rice stood tall against the Bobcats to make nine crucial saves to defend Simplot Stadium and earn the program's highest ranked regular season win in history. He then made another nine saves against the nationally ranked Vikings with a 81.8 save percentage.
On the season, the freshman has made 64 saves on the season and surrenders less than three goals a game. His 75.3% save rate puts him near the top of the MCLA.Â
