Also with a monster swim was freshman
Madeleine Sato, who took 15 seconds off the 500-free school-record in winning the event with a time of 5:23.66 - becoming C of I's first women's "A" qualifier in the event.
Three others broke school records and hit NAIA "B" marks in the meet -
Allie Godfrey in the 200-butterfly (2:21.83),
Kirby Roberts in the 100-butterfly (1:03.09), and
Selena Warburton in the 200-free (2:04.36). Warburton also picked up a win in the 100-breaststroke (1:09.71).
