CALDWELL, Idaho — The College of Idaho placed 16th in the final 2025-26 NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup standings, finishing as the top program in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with 630.50 points.
The Yotes added to their point total during the spring season with scoring performances from women's track and field and softball, helping secure a top-20 national finish in the all-sports competition.
The Learfield Directors' Cup recognizes overall athletic department excellence based on success in NAIA national championship events. The College of Idaho's finish reflects contributions from multiple programs across the academic year and highlights the depth of success throughout Yotes athletics.
"The commitment across our entire department was evident again this year," Athletic Director Reagan Rossi said. "From the fall through the spring, our teams competed at a high level and represented The College of Idaho with pride. Finishing 16th nationally and leading the conference speaks to the consistency and culture of our athletic programs."
The Yotes' points were bolstered by strong national showings from women's track and field, along with a postseason run in softball. Those efforts, combined with scoring performances from earlier seasons, kept The College of Idaho among the national leaders throughout the year.
The result marks another strong finish on the national stage for the Yotes and reinforces the department's standing among the NAIA's top athletic programs. The Cascade Collegiate Conference also saw The College of Idaho emerge as its highest-finishing institution in the standings.
The final NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup standings are determined following the completion of all national championship events during the academic year.
