CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho Athletic Department is excited to announce the recontinuation of taking Hall of Fame nominations. The Yote Athletics Hall of Fame was founded in 1989 to honor persons or teams who have made outstanding contributions to the College's athletic programs. This recognition will perpetuate the memory of those former athletes and coaches who have brought distinction, honor, and excellence to the College.
The core values of Yote Athletics trust, respect, accountability, integrity, and tradition help shape student-athletes to create impactful leaders in the classroom, in competition, in community, and in life. As student-athletes embraces these core values to strive to live the Yotes mission, many have found incredible success to make a lasting impact on their programs and The College of Idaho. The Hall of Fame's goal is to honor these Yotes.
The process to nominate includes filling out a form on
YoteAthletics.com to gather as much information as possible. In order to be eligible, the athlete or team must be ten years removed from their final season of competition. Coaches must be at least three seasons removed to be nominated. Things to consider on the impact is awards won, titles won, and impact on The College of Idaho Athletic Department or community as a Yote.
The Hall of Fame Committee will then go through the nominations and select which nominations will be inducted. The committee will fluctuate year to year but can be filled with notable members of the community, current coaches, members of the media, current hall of famers, as well as both current and past athletic directors.
Nominations will conclude on April 15, 2026.
