GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The College of Idaho track and field teams are set to compete at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships, March 5-7, at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center.
The Yotes will be represented by three men and seven women across distance, middle distance and field events in the culmination of the indoor season.
Men's Preview
Keenan Blair will compete in the shot put, which is scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 p.m. EST (12:30 p.m. MT).
Collin De Julio will double in the mile and 3,000 meters. The mile preliminaries are set for Friday at 12:05 p.m. EST (10:05 a.m. MT), with the final scheduled for Saturday at 12:35 p.m. EST (10:35 a.m. MT). The 3,000-meter will bypass the Friday afternoon prelim, and move straight to the final slated for Saturday at 3:15 p.m. EST (1:15 p.m. MT).
Oclan Ryan is also entered in the mile, joining De Julio in Friday's prelim round.
Women's Preview
The women's 4x800-meter relay team of Kiely Munson, Paiten Braseth, Josie Patton and Kylee Quinton will compete in Thursday's prelim at 2:45 p.m. EST (12:45 p.m. MT). The final is scheduled for Friday at 6:10 p.m. EST (4:10 p.m. MT).
Quinton will also run the 800 meters, with prelims on Friday at 3:15 p.m. EST (1:15 p.m. MT). The final is set for Saturday at 2:20 p.m. EST (12:20 p.m. MT).
Julia Gilbert will double in the mile and 3,000 meters. The mile prelim is Friday at 11:45 a.m. EST (9:45 a.m. MT), with the final Saturday at 12:25 p.m. EST (10:25 a.m. MT). The women's 3,000-meter will also bypass the Friday afternoon prelim, and move straight to the final Saturday at 3 p.m. EST (1 p.m. MT).
Kiriann Johnson will compete in the pole vault on Thursday at 12 p.m. EST (10 a.m. MT), while Helene Rae is set for the shot put Saturday at 11:30 a.m. EST (9:30 a.m. MT).
