CALDWELL, Idaho - All 18 College of Idaho programs that compete in the NAIA were recognized earlier this week as NAIA Scholar Teams, with the Yotes leading the Cascade Collegiate Conference in total honorees.
To earn the distinction, teams must post a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year.
The women's cross country squad paced the Yotes with a 3.75 team GPA, followed by women's outdoor track and field (3.63), men's soccer (3.60), women's tennis (3.56), softball (3.53) and women's basketball (3.52).
Also earning the honor were women's beach volleyball (3.51), women's volleyball (3.49), women's soccer (3.43), men's basketball (3.43), baseball (3.40), men's golf (3.37), women's swimming and diving (3.35), men's cross country (3.34), football (3.22), men's swimming and diving (3.19), men's outdoor track and field (3.19) and women's golf (3.03).
With every NAIA-sponsored team meeting the standard, the Yotes continue to combine academic achievement with athletic success.
