CLEVELAND, Ohio – The College of Idaho capped off a stellar 2024-25 athletic year by finishing 12th in the final LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings, earning a total of 679.00 points. The prestigious ranking system, administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), awards points based on team performances at NAIA national championships.
The Yotes were powered by national championships in men's basketball and men's cross country, while the women's soccer team made a run to the national semifinals. Additional postseason success came from women's cross country, volleyball, women's basketball, men's and women's track & field, and softball, all of which contributed to the national tally.
Among Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) institutions, the College of Idaho finished second, trailing only Southern Oregon University, who placed 9th overall with 726.25 points.
The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup allows up to 13 teams to be counted toward an institution's final score, with required scoring in men's and women's basketball, men's soccer, and volleyball.
