CALDWELL, Idaho — For the first time in program history, a Yote has earned a weekly honor from the Pacific Collegiate Conference in Swim & Dive. Freshman Jace Zemlicka was named Male Freshman of the Week following a strong debut at The College of Idaho's exhibition home meet.
Zemlicka demonstrated his adaptability by competing in a range of events outside his primary strokes, reflecting a strong team-first mentality. His debut featured a 24.63 butterfly split in the 200 Medley Relay and a 1:03.76 in the 100 Breaststroke.
The recognition marks a historic first for The College of Idaho swim program and signals growing momentum.
