\Red Lodge, Mont. – The College of Idaho landed three men's skiers in the top 20 in the giant slalom portion of the USCSA Western Region Championships. The Yotes as a team were second in a combined time of 5:05.78 behind Rocky Mountain with a team time of 4:50.32.
The top individual finisher for College of Idaho was
Carson Parco, who posted a combined time of 1:40.22 en route to an 11th-place finish. He posted a first run of 49.29 which was 10th in the field.
Teammate
Ben Troyer joined him in the top 20 with a 16
th-place finish with a combined time of 1:41.95. The top run for Troyer was his second run where he covered the course in 50.81 for the 14
th fastest run. Joining them in the top 20 was
William Paquette, who was 19
th with a total time of 1:43.61.
Also, for C of I,
Cade McIntyre was 51
st with a combined time of 1:55.56 and
Michael Coleman was 69
th with a combined time of 2:07.42.
The men's and women's slalom will conclude action for the USCSA Western Region Championship on Saturday. Runs start at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
