CALDWELL, Idaho — The College of Idaho enjoyed a flawless weekend at home, securing seven wins across four sports, highlighted by dominant performances in volleyball, soccer, and football.
The No. 11-ranked women's soccer team continued their unbeaten run, posting a 5-2 comeback victory over Carroll College on Friday, followed by a commanding 5-1 win against Providence on Saturday. Natasja Davis and Abbi Roubidoux led the charge, with Davis netting three goals across the two matches, extending the Yotes' season record to 9-0-2.
In men's soccer, the Yotes staged an exhilarating 3-2 comeback against Carroll on Friday, followed by a 6-3 win over Providence on Saturday. Jorge Fernandez was key to the Yotes' success, scoring three goals over the weekend as College of Idaho improved to 7-3-1 on the season.
The Yotes volleyball team swept both Oregon Tech and No. 5 Southern Oregon in straight sets, extending their home win streak to six matches. Offensively, Haley McUne and Alexa Wheeler were instrumental in the victories, combining for 39 kills over the two matches as the Yotes avenged an earlier loss to Southern Oregon. Setter Savannah Hutchins and middle blocker Abby Draghici also played key roles at their respective positions.
Capping off the weekend, the No. 15 football team soared to a 52-27 win over Arizona Christian on Saturday. Quarterback Andy Peters threw for five touchdowns, while the Yotes' defense, led by Tanner Leaf and Eli Mikita, held firm to improve their record to 5-2.
The perfect weekend highlighted the Yotes' dominance across all competitions, strengthening their position in conference standings across multiple sports.
