CALDWELL, Idaho - On Sunday, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 20 team field and the matchups for the First Round of the NAIA Football Championship Series (FCS) on Sunday. College of Idaho was selected as a No. 11 seed and returns to the postseason for the first time since 2019.
The FCS will kick-off on Saturday, November 18th at four campus sites across the country. The Top 12 seeds receive a first round bye.
College of Idaho is one of three Frontier Conference teams to receive a spot along with Montana Western, who received the automatic bid and Montana Tech, like the Yotes received an at-large bid.
The football program joins the men's and women's soccer teams and men's and women's cross country teams for five College of Idaho teams that will be competing in the NAIA postseason.
