Yotes Announce 2026 Football Schedule, Set Spring Game for April 18

CALDWELL, Idaho — The College of Idaho football program announced its 2026 fall schedule and spring calendar, highlighted by a 10-game regular-season slate and the annual spring game set for Saturday, April 18.

The Yotes will open the 2026 campaign on Aug. 29 with a road matchup at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon. The season opener marks the first of two meetings with Eastern Oregon, as the Mountaineers will travel to Caldwell on Oct. 24.

College of Idaho's home opener is scheduled for Sept. 5 against Rocky Mountain College at Simplot Stadium. The Yotes will also host Montana Tech (Sept. 26), Simpson University (Oct. 3) and Carroll College (Nov. 7) to round out a five-game home slate.

Conference road contests include trips to Montana State-Northern (Sept. 19), Montana Western (Oct. 17), Arizona Christian (Oct. 31) and Southern Oregon (Nov. 14). The regular season concludes Nov. 14 in Ashland, Oregon.

The 10-game schedule features five home games at Simplot Stadium and five road matchups across Oregon, Montana and Arizona.

As part of spring preparations, the Yotes will host their annual spring game on the afternoon of Saturday, April 18, giving fans their first look at the 2026 roster. The weekend festivities will begin with the Go Purple Steak Feed on Friday evening.

Kickoff times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
