CALDWELL, Idaho - As signing day commences for the 2026 recruiting class, the College of Idaho announces some big-time recruits that have Head Coach Mike Moroski and his coaching staff excited as they look to add to their already talented roster. Coming off of their second national semifinal appearance in the last three seasons, as well as winning the 2025 Frontier West Conference title, Coach Moroski is thrilled to welcome a talented group of 2026 signees.
"We are truly excited about this class as a whole. This class has some serious potential and will help to strengthen the depth of each position better than we have ever had in the past." said Moroski.
The Yotes are holding onto plenty of Idaho's very own top recruits from all over the Gem State. Each signee will be looking to make a major impact as soon as they step foot on campus and for years to come.
Idaho natives Mason Perkins (Owyhee High School), Gage Canfield (Eagle High School), and Claysen Nye (Middleton High School) look to join an already dominant Yotes offensive line unit.
Running back, Noah Burnham (Eagle High School), aims to step into a talented room that features Rylie Byington, last year's Frontier Conference leader in rushing yards and touchdowns.
Idaho natives Cam Johnson (Ridgevue High School), Talyn Weaver (Filer High School), and Ryland Rush (Nampa High School) look to make a difference on the offensive side of the ball at the Wide Receiver position.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Yotes will bring in an extremely talented class that also has strong ties to the Gem State. Transfer Payton Gunther (University of Idaho) will join the program and contribute to the interior of the Yotes Defensive Line. Incoming Freshman, Cache Palmer (Filer High School), will also join the Defensive Line unit.
Linebackers, and Idaho natives, Jaxson LeBeau (Eagle High School) and Mason Pollard (Kuna High School), look to contribute to the Yote Linebacker room.
Rounding out the recruits from the state of Idaho, talented players looking to join the Yotes secondary include Cash Gennette (Mountain View High School), Cutler King (New Plymouth High School), and Carter Ward (Century High School).
In addition to the signees from the Gem State, the Yotes boast a talented group of out-of-state signees spanning across the country. The Yotes had recruits sign letters of intent to the College of Idaho in a multitude of states, including California, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Texas, and Florida.
After a dominant season, finishing with an 11-2 record, the College of Idaho Football program looks to take the next step in their 2026-27 campaign, starting with signing one of its most talented recruiting classes to date.
