NORTH POWDER, Ore. - It was an all around dominant performance from the Yotes men's skiers on Saturday en route to a fourth straight victory in North Powder at Anthony Lakes Resort.
Carson Parco took the individual crown once again, finishing with a time of just over a minute at 1:00.62.
William Paquette finished second overall with a combined time of 1:02.28, while Benjamin Troyer finished in third with a time of 1:02.42.
The Yotes would be the only team on the mountain to have four skiers finish in the top 10 as
Cade McIntyre would take ninth with a time of 1:08.03. The Yotes would not only take the win on Sunday, they would do so by 20 seconds, as they finished with a combined time of 3:04.13, while the second place finisher, the University of Washington, would wrap up the qualifiers with a total team time of 3:24.10.
"All the men did great today and pulled through the cold conditions," added Parco. "We are looking forward to another win, as we switch to GS [giant slalom] next weekend at Brundage."
The Yotes will compete in another round of qualifiers taking place in a familiar location, Brundage Mountain in McCall, February 4th and 5th.
