College of Idaho, who received 11 first-place votes, received 143 points, followed by Oregon Tech with 127 points, followed by Lewis-Clark State as they garnered the remaining first-place vote, putting them in third with 114 points. Eastern Oregon (101), Southern Oregon (90), Corban (87), Multnomah (76), Bushnell (62), Warner Pacific (55), Northwest (39), Evergreen State (34) and Walla Walla (16) round out the 12-team poll.
College of Idaho, who won the regular season and the tournament title in 2021-22, return 12 letterwinners from a team that reached the NAIA National Tournament round of 16 last season. With the abundance of talent returning, there is a great deal of excitement but also optimism as the season is around the corner.
"We appreciate the respect from our conference peers and are excited about the challenge to repeat this season," said head coach
Colby Blaine. "However, we are well aware that we must grow tremendously from last year if we want to obtain the same experience we had. The CCC is absolutely loaded this year with talented players and coaches, which will make for an action-packed season. Everyone knows that anyone can win on any night in this league. Our team is up for the challenge and we look forward to a great year ahead."
