KELLOGG, Idaho – College of Idaho skiers swept the three podium spots, rolling to an 18-second victory in Northwest Collegiate Ski Conference slalom competition at Silver Mountain.
Ben Troyer earned his second NWCSC victory of the season with a 2-run time of 1:18.56 – as one second separated the sophomore from two of his teammates.
William Paquette recorded his fourth podium finish of the season, placing second (1:19.31), with
Carson Parco, who won yesterday's qualifier, taking third (1:19.58).
The Coyotes clocked a team time of 3:57.45, well ahead of the University of Washington (4:15.21) and University of Oregon (4:20.52).
Five other Yotes completed two runs – as
Cade McIntyre finished 13th (1:29.26),
Michael Coleman placed 21st (1:42.33),
Loi Ha was in 22nd (1:46.56),
Vance Sibetang took 26th (1:56.21) and
Ethan Hahn placed 37th (2:07.58).
C of I heads to Eastern Washington next weekend for giant slalom competition at 49-Degrees North.
