DALLAS, Texas - College of Idaho forward,
Ben Bechor, was named today to the CoSIDA NAIA Academic All-District® 4 Men's Soccer Team, announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Bechor, a recent graduate of the College, was a 4-year member of the men's soccer program, finishing his career with 17 goals - ranking among the Top-20 in program history.
The Health and Human Performance major from Modiin, Israel, was one of 11 student-athletes named to the team - comprising athletes from the Cascade, California Pacific, Golden State Athletic, Frontier and Sooner Athletic Conferences. Athletes had to be a starter or key contributor to their team, be at least a sophomore in academic standing and maintain a minimum 3.30 grade point average to be considered for the team. He was the lone member on the team from the Cascade Conference.
Bechor becomes just the sixth Coyote men's soccer player to earn the award - joining Coe Michaelson (2001, 2002), James Collet (2011), Grant Billings (2015), Brandon Smith (2015) and Ansel Brayton (2018).
