EAGLE POINT, Ore. – Three members of The College of Idaho women's golf team shot final round 91s, as the Yotes placed fifth overall at the Oregon Tech Spring Invitational at Eagle Point Golf Course.
Oregon Tech claimed the team title with a 36-hole score of 636 (315-321), 23 strokes ahead of Lewis-Clark State (337-322 – 659), with C of I finishing at 722 (356-366).
Three Yotes finished in the Top-20, as
Sami Dement placed 13th (81-93 – 174), with
Kaylee Jones in 16th (87-91 – 178) and
Makayla Goforth (90-91 – 181).
OIT's Payton Canon earned medalist honors, carding a two-round score of 150 (73-77).
C of I returns to action on Friday with a dual match at Ridgecrest Golf Club against Northwest Nazarene.
