Yotes Picked Eighth in CCC Men's Soccer Preseason Poll

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The College of Idaho was picked to finish eighth in the 2019 Cascade Conference Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, released today by the league information office.

The Yotes, coming off a 7-5-3 season, received 95 voter points from the 14 conference coaches - just behind seventh-place Evergreen State (100) and ahead of both Oregon Tech (90) and Warner Pacific (85).

Southern Oregon received seven first-place votes and was the odds-on favorite with 183 points, ahead of Rocky Mountain (181), Corban (155) and Eastern Oregon (152). SOU, Rocky and Corban all represented the CCC at the NAIA National Championships.

C of I opens their fall camp on Friday, with the season opener set for Aug. 24 at Northwest Nazarene.
