KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Following their 54th game since the reinstatement of their football team, the College of Idaho reached another program milestone moment, reaching the NAIA Top-25. Riding a five-game win streak, the Coyotes enter the national ranking for the first-time at No. 24.
The Yotes received 22 voter points from the 16 conference raters - 19 more points than a week ago - joining No. 25-ranked Southeastern (Fla.) as newcomers to the poll.
Morningside (Iowa) holds the top spot, followed by Marian (Ind.), Bethel (Tenn.), Reinhardt (Ga.) and Northwestern (Iowa). Frontier Conference regular-season champ, Rocky Mountain, is ranked No. 11, while Montana Western is ranked No. 23 and Eastern Oregon is listed in the others' receiving votes category.
C of I closes out the regular-season on Saturday with a Noon kickoff at Montana State-Northern.
