2017 Football Game Notes - Week 5 (at Rocky Mountain)

ON THE AIR: All College of Idaho football games will be carried live in the Treasure Valley on ESPN Boise platforms (99.1-FM, online at ESPNBoise.com and available via the ESPNBoise Mobile App).  Longtime Voice of the Coyotes, Mike Safford Jr., handles the play-by-play, with Kelly Barbour handing color commentator duties for the fourth-straight season.  Broadcast time on Saturday is set for 12:30 p.m. from Herb Klindt Field in Billings. Saturday's game will also be broadcast in Southeast Montana on 910-AM ESPN Billings.

TICKET/TAILGATE/PARKING INFORMATION: Single-Game tickets and Tailgate Zone spots are still available online for the 2017 football season (http://yoteathletics.com/sports/2015/7/9/FootballTickets.aspx?id=109).  The C of I ticket office inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center will be open daily from 9 a.m. to  5 p.m., with the ticket window at Simplot Stadium opening at 11:30 a.m. on game day (individual reserved seats are $29, individual general admission tickets are $13, youth general admission tickets are $11). Parking will be available at the west end of the Simplot Stadium parking lot.
 
ANOTHER BIG CROWD AT SIMPLOT STADIUM: The Coyotes recorded their 14th home game with over 4,000 fans on Saturday as 4,192 patrons entered the turnstiles at Simplot Stadium. Since football returned to the College, all 18 games at Simplot Stadium have had a crowd of 3,100 fans or more. The Coyotes currently rank second in the Frontier Conference (and the NAIA) in attendance, averaging 3,890 fans – behind only Montana Tech, who drew 4,709 fans for their home opener vs. Carroll. Carroll is in the No. 3 spot, drawing 2,380 fans to their first two home dates. The Yotes would rank No. 11 of the 214 NCAA Division III teams that have played this season – ahead of Linfield (3,245), George Fox (2,463), Puget Sound (2,105), Whitworth (1,603), Willamette (1,075) and Lewis & Clark (776). C of I would rank No. 51 of 157 Division II teams and No. 85 of the 105 NCAA FCS teams that have played home games – ahead of Columbia (3,828), Northern Colorado (3,547), Penn (3,009) and Bucknell (2,506).
