2017 Football Game Notes - Week 4 (Eastern Oregon)

ON THE AIR: All College of Idaho football games will be carried live in the Treasure Valley on ESPN Boise platforms (99.1-FM, online at ESPNBoise.com and available via the ESPNBoise Mobile App).  Longtime Voice of the Coyotes, Mike Safford Jr., handles the play-by-play, with Kelly Barbour handing color commentator duties for the fourth-straight season.  Broadcast time on Saturday is set for 12:30 p.m. from Simplot Stadium. Saturday's game will also be broadcast to the Grand Ronde Valley on Newstalk 103.1 FM with Ken Kennedy on the call.

COMPLETE MEDIA GAME NOTES

LIVE STATS/LIVE VIDEO: For the five C of I home games Live Stats and Live Video will be available online through the Yotes streaming portal (http://portal.stretchinternet.com/yoteathletics), with the Live Video a pay-per-view fundraiser for Coyote football ($8.95 per game, $29.95 for the season - for standard definition; $10.95 per game, $34.95 for the season for high-definition video). The Live Video will be simulcast with the ESPN Boise radio broadcast.

TICKET/TAILGATE/PARKING INFORMATION: Single-Game tickets and Tailgate Zone spots are still available online for the 2017 football season (http://yoteathletics.com/sports/2015/7/9/FootballTickets.aspx?id=109).  The C of I ticket office inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center will be open daily from 9 a.m. to  5 p.m., with the ticket window at Simplot Stadium opening at 11:30 a.m. on game day (individual reserved seats are $29, individual general admission tickets are $13, youth general admission tickets are $11). Parking will be available at the west end of the Simplot Stadium parking lot.

ANOTHER BIG CROWD AT SIMPLOT STADIUM: With multiple factors going against the Yotes (poor air quality and competing against 14 high school games), nearly 3,600 fans arrived for C of I's home opener vs. Southern Oregon – a larger crowd than C of I played in front of at Division I Northern Colorado. Since football returned to the College, all 17 games at Simplot Stadium have had a crowd of 3,100 fans or more. The Coyotes currently rank second in the Frontier Conference (and the NAIA) in attendance, as Montana Tech drew 4,709 fans for their home opener vs. Carroll, while Carroll is in the No. 3 spot, drawing 2,783 fans to Saturday's game vs. Rocky Mountain.
