2017 Football Game Notes - Week 7 (Montana Western)

ON THE AIR: All College of Idaho football games will be carried live in the Treasure Valley on ESPN Boise platforms (99.1-FM, online at ESPNBoise.com and available via the ESPNBoise Mobile App).  Longtime Voice of the Coyotes, Mike Safford Jr., handles the play-by-play, with Kelly Barbour handing color commentator duties for the fourth-straight season.  Broadcast time Saturday at Simplot Stadium is set for 12:30 p.m.

COACHES SHOW AT STEWART'S BAR AND GRILL: For the fifth-straight year, the Mike Moroski Coaches Show will originate each Monday night from 6-7 p.m. at Stewart's Bar and Grill (2805 Blaine Street – Caldwell) and broadcast live on ESPN Boise (99.1 FM) – part of Yotes Night at the restaurant. Join head coach Mike Moroski and players for an in-depth look at Coyote Football and a chance for fans to be able to meet and mingle with the players and coaching staff.
 
TICKET/TAILGATE/PARKING INFORMATION: Single-Game tickets and Tailgate Zone spots are still available online for the 2017 football season (http://yoteathletics.com/sports/2015/7/9/FootballTickets.aspx?id=109).  The C of I ticket office inside the J.A. Albertson Activities Center will be open daily from 9 a.m. to  5 p.m., with the ticket window at Simplot Stadium opening at 11:30 a.m. on game day (individual reserved seats are $29, individual general admission tickets are $13, youth general admission tickets are $11). Parking will be available at the west end of the Simplot Stadium parking lot.
 
LEADING THE NAIA IN ATTENDANCE: Heading into Week 8 of the NAIA football season, the Coyotes lead the nation in attendance, averaging 3,890 fans per game – just ahead of St. Francis (Ind.) (3,862) – and surpassing league foes Montana Tech (3,503), Southern Oregon (3,411) and Carroll College (2,875). The Yotes would rank No. 12 among the 248 NCAA Division III schools – and ahead of all eight Northwest Conference teams (Linfield (3,299), George Fox (2,636), Pacific (2,571), Puget Sound (2,453), Whitworth (1,889), Willamette (1,317), Pacific Lutheran (1,302), Lewis & Clark (672)); would rank No. 49 of the 169 NCAA Division II schools (and ahead of West Coast teams Western Oregon (1,550), Humboldt State (2,316) and Azusa Pacific (3,575)); and No. 98 of the 123 NCAA Division I FCS teams – ahead of Penn (3,516), Brown (3,481) and Bucknell (2,825).
