Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Watkins is in her fourth season with the Coyote swim program.

2020-21: Competed in the middle distance and butterfly events, recording season-best times of 2:05.24 in the 200-free and 5:31.22 in the 500-free, along with a mark of 1:03.65 in the 100-yard butterfly; honored as a NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

2019-20: Had an outstanding NAIA National Championship, recording personal best times in three individual events; placed sixth in the consolation final of the 100-yard butterfly (58.63), eighth in the consolation final of the 200-yard butterfly, with a school-record time of 2:12.49 and 18th overall in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.30); earned All-America honors as part of the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams.

2018-19: Swam legs on three All-America relay teams at the NAIA Championships (200-medley, 400-medley, 400-freestyle); qualified for three individual events at Nationals - placing 18th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:16.09), 20th in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.21) and in the 100-yard butterfly (1:00.51).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Crescent Valley High in Oregon, where she qualified for the 5a state championships, taking 2nd place in the 100-fly with a time of 59.12. Watkins took 1st place in the Oregon AAA Fall invitational in the 500-free with a time of 5:47.68.
