Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Sharples is in her second season with the Coyote swim program.

2022-23: Posted top times of 2:24.78 in the 200-yard IM and 2:22.11 in the 200-yard backstroke. Named to the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Women's Swim & Dive Scholar-Athlete Team.

2020-21: Competed in the backstroke events, recording top marks of 1:06.01 in the 100-back and 2:22.54 in the 200-back.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2020 graduate of Post Falls High, where she was a part of the swim program; was a two-time finalist at the 5A state championships, placing sixth as a senior in the 500-yard freestyle (5:22.07); also had top times of 19:22 in the 1,650-yard freestyle, 2:10.55 in the 200-yard backstroke and 4:41.84 in the 400-yard IM; also competed for the Coeur d'Alene Swim Club.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Pre-Medicine
