Biography

AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Osborne is in his fourth season with the Coyote swim program.

2017-18: Earned NAIA All-America honors as part of the school record-setting 200-free and 400-free relay teams at the NAIA Championships - placing fifth in the 200-free relay and eighth in the 400-free relay; competed at the NAIA Championships in the 50-free (21.12), 100-free (47.61) and the 100-fly (51.47).

2016-17: Completed in three individual events at the NAIA Championships, including a fourth-place finish in the consolation finals of the 100-fly; established two school records at the Husky Invitational - clocking a 21.29 in the 50-free and a 50.36 in the 100-fly; helped both the 200-free and 200-medley relay teams set school records at Nationals.

2015-16: Placed 11th in the 200-free relay and 18th in the 100-butterfly with 52.27 and raced in the 400-medley and 400-free relay to help the Yotes finish 10th at the NAIA Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Hockinson High in Washington, where he was a five-time district champion and two-time medalist at the 2A state championships; placed third in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly as a senior; recorded top times of 21.53 in the 50-yard freestyle; 50.00 in the 100-yard freestyle; and 51.19 in the 100-yard butterfly.

PERSONAL: Studying business; son of Justin Slade and Carolee McAfee.
