AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Alec is in his third season with the College of Idaho Men’s swim program as a 

2022-23: Posted top times of 52.77 in the 100-yard backstroke and 1:55.82 in the 200-yard backstroke; won the 100 and 200-yard backstroke in the triangular against Redlands and Chapman; second in the 100-yard back in the dual vs. Puget Sound; third in the 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard backstroke and sixth in the 200-yard individual medley at the Idaho Vandal Invite; fifth in the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke at the Slug Shootout Invitational. Named to the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Swim & Dive Scholar-Athlete Team.


2018-19: Qualified for the NAIA Championships in three individual events and competed in a relay...placed sixth in the consolation final of the 200-yard backstroke, establishing a new school record with a time of 1:54.36...took 21st in the 400-yard IM (4:14.02) and 30th in the 200-yard-IM (2:00.35), while helping the 400-yard medley relay place third in the consolation final.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate of Bear River High, where he was a four-time podium finisher at the Utah 3A state championships; placed second in the 200-IM and the 100-fly as a junior, while placing third in the 200-IM (1:58.17) and the 100-breast (1:01.98) as a senior.
