Nawahine is in her third season with the Coyotes…had a banner 2011 season, earning All-Cascade Conference, AVCA All-Northwest Region, and honorable mention NAIA All-American honors...recorded 336 kills, 266 digs, and led the Yotes with 33 aces, including six double-doubles...had a season-high 21 kills vs. Eastern Oregon and 22 digs against Indiana Wesleyan...used the 2010 season as a redshirt year...transferred to The C of I after one season at BYU-Hawaii, where she played in 99 sets at the Division II school, averaging 2.2 kills and 0.5 blocks per set...a 2009 graduate of Fruitland High, where she was a three-time 3A All-State selection and two-time Snake River Valley Conference Player of the Year, leading her team to three 3A state tournament appearances...earned All-SRV honors all four years as a prep, being named Team MVP both seasons...played for the Boise River Volleyball Club...studying psychology...parents Kaleo and Sheryl Nawahine.
