Four year starter for La Grande High School Boys Soccer Team, Selected Team Captain and MVP twice; Freshman Year - named Conference Newcomer of the Year and Second Team All Conference; Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Years - named First Team All Conference... 2022 State Baseball Champion... 2022 and 2023 Acapella Choir Champion... in the classroom, Rinker achieved Valedictorian, Honor Roll four years, National Honor School, Honor's Diploma, ASB President, OSAA Scholar Athlete, LG Legacy of Leadership Award Recipient, and Performing Arts Pathway.
 
PERSONAL:
Joining the Yote Fam from La Grande, OR, Owen was raised by Lance and Missy Rinker. Aside from his efforts on the pitch, Owen is also working hard in the classroom in pursuit of a degree in Psychology. He chose The College of Idaho for several reasons, including its high academic reputation, the incredible sense of community, and to be a part of a very special team made up of talented players from all over the world.
