AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Clay is in his third season with the Coyote baseball program.

2020: Played in 28 games, including 27 starts, prior to the season ending due to CoVID-19; hit .247 with five doubles and 13 RBI, adding nine stolen bases; named NAIA West Player of the Week after going 7-for-16 in a weekend series vs. Park-Gilbert; recorded seven multi-hit games.

2019: Started all 51 games, hitting .226 with a team-high four home runs; added 11 doubles, 14 stolen bases and 23 RBI; recorded 12 multi-hit games and posted a .346 batting average during the second half of the NAIA West season; named NAIA West Player of the Week after going 9-for-19 with three doubles and a home run in a road series win at Oregon Tech.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent two seasons at Monterey Pacific College, where he hit .318 with five home runs and 29 RBI, earning honorable mention All-Coast Conference honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Heritage Woods SS in British Columbia; played baseball for the Coquitlam Reds of the British Columbia Premier Baseball League, where he was the 2016 team captain.

PERSONAL: Studying health sciences.
