AT COLLEGE OF IDAHO: Wood is in his third season with the Coyote baseball program.

2021: Was part of the starting rotation, making 14 appearances; had a 3-5 record with a 5.67 ERA and one save in 60.1 innings, striking out 62; tossed six innings 1-hit shutout ball in a win over Northwest Nazarene; threw a complete game 3-hitter, striking out 10, in a win over Corban; named to the Cascade Conference All-Academic Team.

2020: Made seven appearances on the mound prior to the season ending due to CoVID-19; finished 1-4 with a 6.19 ERA in 36.1 innings, striking out 30 batters; earned NAIA West Pitcher of the Week in February after throwing six innings of 1-hit ball in a win over William Jessup; struck out a season-high eight batters vs. Simpson; earned a save with two shutout innings vs. Park-Gilbert.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent two seasons at Walla Walla CC, posting a 3-1 record with a 4.90 ERA and one save; also played for the Walla Walla Sweets of the West Coast League.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Borah High, where he was a member of the varsity program.

PERSONAL: Studying business management.
